WB’s 2024 Great Giveback for the “Coldest Night of the Year”

On Saturday, February 24, Wilson Blanchard volunteers lent a hand to support the Coldest Night of the Year. The event is a moment when tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home and shine a light of welcome and inclusion, collecting donations that fund critical services at a local charity partner who serves and supports vulnerable families and individuals in our communities.

WB volunteers were stationed along the route to keep those walking in the event on track and provide encouragement, route directions and hot chocolate!

Our Waterloo Regional office team attended the Cambridge area event that supported Urban Hope Ministries and helped to raise $55,506.

 

Our Hamilton and Niagara office teams volunteered at the Hamilton Mountain event in support of Neighbour to Neighbour, helping to raise $108,822.

 

 

On March 7, our Toronto office team will be taking part in an event supporting Meals on Wheels. Each of these events is part of the Great Giveback, an Associa-wide charitable initiative based on a 10:4:1 approach, where each Associa office gathers a team of at least 10% of their staff to donate 4 hours of time towards 1 project to help make their community a better place.
