Our 25th Year in Business…Highlight #3 of 25
Paula Davis began her career at Wilson Blanchard in 1995 as a bookkeeper on the day Ray Wilson and David Blanchard opened the company’s doors. This role quickly evolved as the company grew and Paula became the head of the Accounting Department and the de facto one-person Human Resources department taking on all responsibilities for payroll and onboarding new employees. One of Paula’s unofficial roles over the years has been “Event Planner Extraordinaire”, responsible for planning and pulling off almost every company event from Holiday Parties and BBQs to boat cruises, bowling events and Halloween celebrations (as can be seen in the picture!), not to mention the impromptu office lunches or even the odd ice-cream truck that shows up the parking lot.
During her career at WB, Paula was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and now, with the Associa family, she holds the role of VP, Finance. As WB has grown substantially, there are now formal roles for human resources and payroll administration, but Paula remains an integral part of our success and will never hesitate to help any staff member or department with a challenge or special project. Paula’s engagement, commitment, and focus to make our team better each day has contributed to our success and our continuing growth.
