Great Giveback on the “Coldest Night of the Year”
On Saturday, February 25, members of Wilson Blanchard’s offices volunteered at the Coldest Night of the Year. This event that is held in multiple cities throughout Canada is a walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. WB volunteers were stationed along the route to keep those walking in the event on track and provide encouragement! Our Waterloo Regional office team attended the Cambridge area event that raised $51,015 and our Hamilton office team volunteered at the Hamilton Mountain event raising $133.186.
Our Toronto office team will be taking part in an event supporting of the Mississauga Food bank in April as part of the Great Giveback, which is an Associa-wide charitable initiative based on a 10:4:1 approach, where each Associa branch gathers a team of at least 10% of their staff to donate 4 hours of time towards 1 project to help make their community a better place.
